DAKSH SKILL DEVELOPMENT MISSION is the aegis of Daksh Educational Trust. We know it’s difficult to trust strangers. That’s why let us tell you a little bit more about our work, the team of DSDM. and working on vocational education since 2010 with an objective to train unemployed youth, school and college dropouts in various outcome-based trades, and help them get employment within the domestic industries as well as overseas markets. We are working with Skill India Mission since 2016 and trained almost 2000 candidates in various job roles. DSDM was established with the noble aim of advancing and disseminating knowledge and maintaining highest standard of learning through teaching, research, extension education Programme and conceptual aspects relevant to the need of the state, having vast experience in the field of education, is committed to bring about an all round social transformation by spreading quality education in rural and urban areas throughout India. There are many sectors & millions of jobs opportunities across these sectors, where industries continue to struggle for skilled talent.

Eligibility

Eligibility for admission in B.Voc.

The eligibility condition for admission to B.Voc.programme shall be 10+2 or equivalent, in any stream.

Curriculum

The curriculum in each of the years of the programme would be a suitable mix of general education and skill development components.

Objectives

(I) To provide judicious mix of skills relating to a profession and appropriate content of General Education.


(II) To ensure that the students have adequate knowledge and skills, so that they are work ready at each exit point of the programme.

General Education Component

(I) The general education component should adhere to the normal university standards. It should emphasise and offer courses which provide holistic development. However, it should not exceed 40% of the total curriculum.


(II) Adequate emphasis should be given to language and communication skills.

Mission

Upgrade skills to international standards through significant industry involvement and develop necessary frameworks for standards, curriculum and quality assurance.

NSDC was set up as part of a national skill development mission to fulfil the growing need in India for skilled manpower across sectors and supply of skills.
